am i dreaming??
why does holidays end so fast??
2010 is coming...what should i do???
still haven't planned anything?? oh,gosh...
wake up, girl!!
2009 is going to end soon...
you got to do something right now..
no laying back...
wake up, girl!
there is only few days left,
for you to reflect on what have you done in 2009
and plan on what you are going to do in 2010...
wake up, girl!
stop your lazy attitude,
do update your blog regularly,
as what Dr.Edwin Malachi used to tell you,
do not disappoint him,
but made him proud of you!!
wake up, girl!
is time for you to make a difference on your kids,
show them that you are the most dedicated and caring teacher in school..
wake up, girl!
your kids really need you,
you should not let them down,
hold them, guide them along the way....
It is unbelievable that i have been teaching more that 12 months in secondary school. Time flies in blinking eyes. When i recalled those times when I started my teaching career, I could feel that it was all sweats and tears, partly because I encountered a disease few months after i started teaching.
I still remembered all those time being alone in school, i felt so alienated because my school has more senior teachers. There were so many things that I did not know and I had never learnt in university. It was totally different...I got to pick up so many things in school and I always went back late in the evening.
This year, I started to get use to the whole system in school. Even tough I am KP for BC even tough I am an English teacher, I find that I learn a lot about management. Sometimes, I used to be very frustrated because I was given many duties in school. But, I tried to comfort myself saying that " I will learn more by doing more works..why not I take it positively?" By thinking like this, I will feel more comfortable. When I reflect it now, I think it is really worth it as I learn a lot of things in school even tough I used to think that my life in school was so miserable before this.
After teaching for one year, I know that I really fall in love with this profession. I love to be with students, enjoying working with them. I love to teach and share my knowledge with them. It is no doubt that teaching profession is my cup of tea. I hope that I will continue my passion in teaching and do the best for my students all the time.
Since I started working,
my life seems to be empty,
I feel that something has been missing for a long time...
Since I started working,
my life is no longer happening,
complains are increasing,
happiness is decreasing.
Since I started working,
I can see people with different working attitudes,
which reveals their true characters as time goes by.
Since I started working,
I could feel that building a good rapport with others is important,
as it may ease my work at time.
Since I started working,
I have to learn to protect myself,
as people will blame on me if any problem occurs.
Since I started working,
I find that nobody will praise you if you have done something good,
but people will gossip about you or point their fingers at you if you did any mistakes.
Since I started working,
I find that it is hard to find a true friend in workplace,
which I can truly rely on.
Since I started working,
the only place i like is in the classroom,
where I have lots of fun with my students.
Since I started working,
my health condition is getting worse,
with lots of stress.
Since I started working,
all my uni memories will always pop up in my mind,
my practical experience will come across my mind,
where I truly miss...................
Today, I have completed my first task, where I have finished marking the Form 3 papers. Sadly, the result of my students are not that good and no one score 'A' for English paper. Sigh... :( Meanwhile, students who failed in English paper have decreased compared to the first term exam. I wondered this may be a good news for me ...I have been trying different methods in teaching those kids and I think I have putting much efforts already.
Arranging the document for the Chinese department file is truly a tiring job for me. As a new teacher who has no idea about anything, I got to discover it all by my own. Even tough the job seem to be very easy, but I had spent a long time arranging all those document accordingly.
Overall, I have spent the first day of the school holidays meaningfully without wasting any time. What a good start and I hope that I can complete all my plans during the holidays!!
Feeling happy to be with you,
Really appreaciate the time we spend together,
I do care for you as well,
Even though we may be apart one day,
No longer meet each other for a long time,
Dearest friends, I will not forget you!!
time flies,
friends come and go,
i wonder how many true friendship that i ever had...
sometimes,
i felt time was so short,
for me to build a genuine friendship.
where ever i go,
i will meet new friends and close friends,
but it was only a short time we were together,
this happened to me since i was in primary school.
looking at my friends' photos in friendster and facebook,
a flashback of every happy moments we were together,
made me felt that the moments we were together was really short,
because now we were no longer that close..
perhaps,
these were what is meant by emptiness in Buddha's teaching,
where everything that we face will turn to the form of emptiness in the end.
